US House censures Democrat over Trump rant

WASHINGTON—Ten Democrats joined Republicans in the US House of Representatives on Thursday in voting to censure their colleague Texas Rep. Al Green for rowdy behavior during a speech to Congress by President Donald Trump on Tuesday.
Thursday’s censure resolution was approved 224 to 198. The lawmaker from Texas, who has served in the US House since 2005, interrupted Trump early during his speech, shouting and waving his black cane.
Republican lawmakers booed to drown out Green, briefly bringing proceedings to a halt before he was escorted out of the chamber.
