US, Russia refuse to take Russian vlogger

Both the United States and Russia refused to take in Russian vlogger Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, who was declared “persona non grata” for harassing and insulting Filipinos online, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla said on Sunday.

Zdorovetskiy will now have to face charges in the country starting next week for three counts of unjust vexation, with a possible jail time of three months to one year.

If found guilty, the 33-year-old Zdorovetskiy, known by his username VitalyzdTv on YouTube, may serve up to 18 months in jail.
