Senate President Francis Joseph “Chiz” Escudero says that Malacañang’s decision to move the commemoration of the Ninoy Aquino Day from Aug. 21 to 23 does not diminish the heroism and martyrdom of Sen. Benigno S. Aquino Jr. “That’s part of our history, and one of the things we’ve gone through to get where we are now as a nation and a race,” says the Senate chief.
