Talk of the Town: PUV modernization: Trust-building failure

It is basically the cost of repaying the modern jeepneys that is blocking the implementation. Even those who agreed to join are now complaining because their net income is too small to feed their families. We always try to think big like first-world countries but we have a long way to go. If we want to help with climate change the government could have just limited those jeepneys that are road-worthy to ply the routes. Somebody is trying to make a killing in this scheme and make no mistake about it knowing how everything works here.
