Talk of the Town: Carbon credits

Excellent projects earning-carbon credits would be-reforesting the cordilleras, especially the outlying areas of Sagada/Benguet-with just one forest stand of-pine trees, another would be planting Pili-trees in Albay-plus of course, mangroves along the-coastal regions.

The only time we can sell our carbon credits is when we have fully met our commitment for reduction of greenhouse gas emission. That is difficult to attain. In reducing greenhouse emission, planting trees appears easier than replacing fossil fueled cooking stoves with alcohol fueled. End of Salceda’s windfall idea.
