Good intentions on the part of justices, but it’s useless as long as there’s treatment like in the case of Imelda, Enrile, Jinggoy, and Revilla. We all know how these corrupt officials get away with their cases. The lady with a blind will protest as long as there’s inequality in the way they treat the elite versus the poor.

There is also a system called “legal aid certificate” funded by the taxpayers. Now the holder of the certificate can choose any lawyer to represent them and the legal aid fund will pay the bills. Many topnotch lawyers who bill their clients in $ millions also will defend legal aid certificates holders to the best of their abilities. That is their sworn duties.
