Talk of the Town: Going after SMNI

Comments on “Going after SMNI,” (Editorial, 12/07/23) via www.inquirer.net:

Shutting down SMNI will not change anything. The issue is drugs and insurgency. No one should forget about the drug pushers and their syndicate bosses who are still preying on Filipinos. Most likely, the criminals are enjoying the unfolding political theater. The target of illegal drug trade is the youth. Political theater should not be at the expense of our children’s future.

It has nothing to do with justice. Justice here is an illusion. It is political. It has served the government for long. Now it attacked one of its members. They shall have been stopped long ago for what they do to the population. They will stop doing what they do for one politician instead. This is Philippine justice.
