Cocaine back in the late 1800s was commonly bought in pharmacies. Google vintage ads on cocaine and it seems to be celebrated then, as a “wonder drug” a “miracle cure” !? for various ailments—toothache, headache, etc. This was of course before with its dangerous side effects was known wonder if it was practiced here 125 years ago.
