Talk of the Town: But what about Masungi?

Comment on “But what about Masungi?” (Editorial, 3/24/24) via www.inquirer.net:

DENR does not help the country protect our natural resources but instead leans more to companies and personalities to use the natural wealth for their own gain. It might be better to add another level of protection to our protected areas by creating a more powerful agency that controls the granting of any permits and clearances for these areas handled by people who are more inclined to protection than business. DENR, local officials, AFP, and PNP will have to be under this agency.
