Talk of the Town: Churches as donees of ill-gotten wealth

Comments on “Churches as donees of ill-gotten wealth” (Human Face by Ma. Ceres P. Doyo, 10/03/25) via https://opinion.inquirer.net:

These grafters donate to churches, aside from cars, amounts for repairs, food packs during certain feast days, sponsorship for masses, and for decorations. there is a bad belief that sins are mitigated if donations are made to churches or ministers of faith. mortal sins cannot be reduced to venial sins. these people forgot the eighth commandment: THOU SHALL NOT STEAL!
