But the presented data of four sibling pairs of senators and 70% percent of Congress representatives must be a significant manifestation of the people’s will. If the majority wanted no dynasties, why were they elected?

Well and good, it should be done. But who will enforce it? Does the SC have the power to impose a deadline and have them thrown out? No.

The framers of ‘86 Constitution should have included that in the original document!

The law must promote broader citizen participation in public service by limiting the simultaneous holding of elected or appointed government positions to one member of a family, extending up to the fifth degree of consanguinity or affinity. Further, an individual may serve in the same office for a maximum of two terms. After completing those terms, the individual would be ineligible to run for or be appointed to the same office for a period of two years.
