COA has already proven it can do the job. The question is whether the government a ctually wants the job done. If accountability is the goal, fund the watchdog. If not, stop pretending we’re fighting corruption while wading through the consequences.

Failure to adequately fund and protect COA sends the wrong message to the public. It suggests that the fight against corruption is more rhetoric than reality.
