The secretary was quick to absolve his department. Unfortunately for him, his department has the “reputation.” Take a look at roads washed out during rains or floods. It’s not just the rains or floods, look at the thickness of the roads washed out, definitely below standard.

Impossible for the truck to weigh 102 tons. And the fact that is was the fifth span that the collapse happened. So if it was 102 tons, the bridge would have collapsed in the 1st span outright.
