While waiting for the law against online gambling to be finalized, BSP should IMMEDIATELY BAN top ups and money transfers from e-wallets like GCash. These e-wallets were initially conceptualized for financial inclusion, not financial destruction.
Licensed online gambling firms get it wrong. It’s not a fight between legal and illegal online gambling. It’s a fight against legal and illegal ONLINE GAMBLING. We already have physical casinos for gambling. These in-person casinos can actually be regulated unlike online gambling.
