Talk of the Town: Drilon should have been PH President
Comments on “Drilon should have been PH President,”(With Due Respect by Artemio V. Panganiban, 2/9/26) via https://opinion.inquirer.net:
I absolutely agree. He is one of the very few to have graced the Senate with his presence. Very few of the others, past and present, have demonstrated even a modicum of ability, humility or honor. Frank Drilon was and is one of the last of a seemingly endangered species, an honorable senator.

The problem is that the Liberal Party fell apart because of the pork barrel scandal, and the fact that Aquinomics is nothing more than a restrained version of Arroyonomics, which in turn calls for high taxes, low public spending, and letting the private sector take over, didn’t help.
