Ahh, SC. Truth be told that the SC has been indirectly complicit with the Injustice in this country; as in “justice delayed is justice denied” or that every one is entitled to a speedy trial because otherwise it is a violation of one’s due process.

All branches of government share the blame for the endless cycle of corruption. First, the legislative branch crafts a budget stuffed with massive pork allocations; the executive branch is aware of these insertions yet still approves and implements it.
When corrupt politicians are finally caught and brought to court, the justice system ends up absolving them of any wrongdoing. This encourages any politician to further enrich themselves, knowing that there will be no consequences.
