BI Officials are very creative. Tanim bala, polvoron, trafficking, helping escape foreigner criminals. These are so easy to check if you have good managers with integrity. Just don’t let politicians influence the appointments because crooks will infiltrate the BI personnel from top executives to the lowest messenger.

The BI is trying to outdo the tara system in BoC and BIR out of green envy, while the DA is not far behind. These folks, from the lowly rank and file to the top honcho level have become so dense they don’t get affected by their moral conscience or public criticisms for as long as their families are living the good life.

Hopeless, I believe. Anything short of a tsunami can change the BI. Replace everyone, corruption is too embedded already, even people with clean hands would succumbed, either play along or leave.
