The government has too many people, whose primary objective is to find ways to benefit themselves while they have the means to do so, while making sure they do the minimum required so they do not get in trouble.

Make Philippines clean again. Only that strategy will bring back the tourists, and not just the vice-seeking ones, which the Philippines doesn’t need anymore.

Make Philippines fun again is a pipe dream. First, improve infrastructure (land, sea, and air travel). Second, prices in tourist places are exorbitantly expensive. Compare this prices in Vietnam, Thailand, and even Taiwan, in the Philippines, are way, way too expensive.
