What are they (DepEd, teachers) trying to solve? The problem is that according to Edcom 99. 5 percent of students fail proficiency tests (only 0.47 percent passed, according to Edcom 2’s final report). Reducing the grading periods from four to three will help? They must be delusional. It may reduce their workload, but this is a diversion from the main problem(s).
