Talk of the Town: New year, new resolve needed
Comments on “New year, new resolve needed,” (Editorial, 1/1/26) via https://opinion.inquirer.net:
Let us channel our justified anger away from the fleeting headlines of any single administration and toward the enduring architecture of accountability. Our call is no longer just for the imprisonment of a few corrupt individuals. It is for the
liberation of our institutions from the constraints that allow corruption to thrive. The administration may have missed its moment, but our democracy’s true defenders—the Constitution’s guardians—are waiting for the people’s command to be set loose. It is time we gave it to them.

A good New Year’s resolution is for the public to get angrier and those who have more things to say or show should do so.
