Placing the axis of burden on the government or any sort of benevolent guardianship to protect anyone from his/her own foolishness is not the way to go. Perhaps, a real bad fall is precisely the experience one needs to straighten up.

Totally agree with the editorial. Easily accessible online gambling is such a temptation to vulnerable sectors of society like the young and the poor who want instant wealth. These games of course are statistically programmed. Only a few could actually win and the profits enjoyed by the perpetrators.
