Scams have been happening all the time even before the advent of the digital age. But now with virtual transactions and AI it’s getting worse because transactions are much faster and there are a lot of bad actors out there preying on people, not just the elderly.

I have been sent 2 times already in maybe six months with the same message. Funny, sender indicates the bank I have no account and a credit card I don’t have. Sent a report once with screenshots to kontratextscam@ntc.gov.ph. I wonder what happened.
