Corruption effects are not just the money stolen or bribes given, but also the opportunity cost. When floods aren’t controlled, that’s billions in lost economic activity. When roads are ghost projects, that’s negative employment generated.
Thing is
Very optimistic, but the problem is who is going to spearhead this optimism when the Filipino electorate keeps on choosing bad, rotten-egg politicians to lead the country?
