Talk of the Town: Revving up the e-vehicle industry
Comments on “Revving up the e-vehicle industry,” (Editorial, 5/6/24) via www.inquirer.net:
As always, our wishes are inconsistent with what we are doing. Like in the case of the economy. For it to improve, we need to stamp out corruption and upgrade education, both problems are still ignored. On e-vehicles, we have no such industry. We only buy from Xina.

EV is a scam after eight years and battery is dead, the cost to buy is as expensive as a new one. Compare this to an old 8-year-old Corolla that will still run efficiently and you can sell off at 50 percent depreciated value. EV is a scam.

It is scientifically impossible for GHG emissions to dangerously heat the planet. During earth’s past, we had CO2 levels 10 to 20 times that of today and there was no runaway global warming.
