Concerned agencies should require importers to submit a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory report of their warehouse vis a vis imports made. And the DA should make sure they strictly comply. The database from both ends should reflect the real situation including sales receipts and taxes paid.

Notice that when a food cartel strikes, rice, garlic, onions, and the economy take longer to recover. And comically, govt finance is copying federal free market interest rate hikes on an obviously manipulated market, kabugokan extreme.

The effort of the government to curve smuggling in our country is on paper only (Papogi lang) … dahil habang may corrupt na government officials na tumutulong sa mga smugglers na ito, smuggling won’t stop.
