Talk of the Town: The Duterte world tour

They get elected to serve their constituents but instead travel around the world under the guise that they are spending their own money. What about the time? The time that they are supposed to serve as elected officials.

Anything goes with Philippine politicians and they get away with it time and time again. First, they become very rich while in office, next they’ll find ways on how to spend their riches at people’s expense.

Half the blame falls on the people of Davao who voted for this family in office. You cannot for the sake of accountability rescind that responsibility. They have put in his hands the power to do anything he wants without culpability.
