Janet Napoles is said to be just one among the many whose role was really as “facilitators” of a modus operandi that involved almost everyone. Her misfortune was having a “traitor” from among her staff and the powerful people involved needed a scapegoat and a sacrificial lamb to appease the public. Who still remembers that Napoles was actually a frequent visitor of Malacañang and when she surrendered, she was picked up from a cemetery and escorted to the PNP Headquarters by no less than two of the most powerful individuals in the government. She even named her mentor, remember?

The big fish who were supposed to be the main culprits had escaped. It seems our judicial system is only intended for small type criminals. The big-time criminals are above the law.

There is no better place to steal multiple plunder amounts than in the country that when caught and awaiting the outcome of the court process that takes ages, one can enjoy the stolen money and be elected to a position of power and influence. Sarap buhay!
