Shouldn’t we also look at our psyche through the lens of almost 400 years of colonialism? The so-called colonial mentality is the yoke that ties down the Filipino mind from moving forward.

Bardo, the path between afterlife and rebirth. The myth can be translated into reality if we will only have courage and determination for change. Enough of the evil of our past that is pulling us down further to the abyss. Millennials and Gen Zs, you are encouraged to lead the way to start the moral and ethical cleansing for the sake of your children and future generations.

The way Filipinos deal with politics, in general, did not modernize at all. Traditional politicians know this and are just taking advantage of it one election after another. Tradpols seem to like and savour it. It simply means they can fatten up their and their minions’ pockets while taking advantage of the poverty of the majority of Filipinos and pretending to be serving the poor.
