Talk of the Town: The pain of the privileged
Comments on “The pain of the privileged’” (Public Lives by Randy David, 9/1/24) via https://opinion.inquirer.net:
I don’t believe the privileged class in the Philippines ever experienced “pain” the way the regular Filipinos or the under privileged group do. In the same manner that the joy that this disparate group experienced is similar. When this special group fail to achieve all that they want, then, they might call that “pain” of missing the rest. But the lower class to experience pain meant they never got any. Just pure unadulterated zero in the game of life.

Whatever is the intention in the legal elimination of persons that committed criminal acts is good for society. Much more so if they caused massive negative impact on the welfare of the country and people. The isolation of people in the later is tantamount to a national cleansing.
