Another perspective is to take a step back now to move two steps forward later. If Lacson had not resigned to maintain the status quo of Sotto’s senate presidency, the Duterte bloc would have taken over, aiming to shield their fellow senators from investigation.

It seems like it’s now up to the enlightened citizenry to carry on the fight against corruption and evil wrongdoings of those crooked people supposedly there to safeguard the country’s meager resources and lead the people to redemption.
