Talk of the Town: Undoing damage to a PH treasure
Comments on “Undoing damage to a PH treasure,” (Editorial, 3/19/24) via www.inquirer.net:
Greed, like a voracious beast, devours our heritage sites, leaving behind only echoes of their former glory.
Unchecked development and exploitation for profit erode the very foundations of these sacred places, robbing future generations of their cultural treasures. Greed blinds us to the priceless value of our heritage, leaving only a trail of destruction in its wake.

As usual, corruption in the Philippines starts with the barangay council and barangay captain. Then the LGU/mayor, governor, congressman.
Then the designated government agency like the DENR in this case. That’s where the money trail is.
Sa land conversion na lang ganyan din. Where did China get its reclamation materials in its WPS military installation? From Bataan, Zambales?
Who approved it? This should be investigated!
