A sustained high GDP rate for at least three presidential terms is needed to reach RICH country status. No matter how imperfect money is shared with the poor, their well-being will definitely improve year by year. The only problem is finding leaders with no incomprehensible pecuniary interest.

Yes, the focus should be on reducing inequality rather than increasing GDP. Unfortunately, corrupt political dynasties and big business ruling this country make the decisions. Good (tough) luck.

The powers that control the various rating agencies (which in turn control our credit rating) often look beyond the big numbers!
