Poverty reduction, fighting corruption, and addressing involuntary hunger boil down to reducing the footprint of the state, regardless of who sits at the helm.

“Bagong Pilipinas” will never happen without foreign direct investment, which in turn depends on reduced corruption and the rule of law. The law enforcement group PNP, DOJ, OSG, DILG, and soon the Ombudsman are properly led, unlike during Duterte, but the fight against corruption is still hazy without freedom of information. There is a chance, this will be corrected soon. We have a reason for optimism within the next three years!
