Comments on “When corruption could no longer hide,” (Public Lives by Randy David, 1/4/26) via https://opinion.inquirer.net:

The events of 2025 demonstrate that personality-driven exposés and fleeting public outrage are insufficient to address systemic corruption. Meaningful reform necessitates sustained and often unspectacular efforts to strengthen constitutional accountability institutions such as the Commission on Audit, the Civil Service Commission, and the Office of the Ombudsman.

It is never a “turning point”!!! Corruption is now so entrenched in this country it will be impossible to eradicate!!! A prime example is the recently passed budget!! LMFAO!
