Comments on “Will death preempt justice?” (Editorial, 3/22/24) via www.inquirer.net:
Criminally , the murderer can no longer go to jail but six feet under, or the urn. But civilly, justice cannot be preempted. The victim(s) survivor can sue their estate for the pain and suffering and and punitive damages for the harm and loss they, the “criminals,” have caused.
