The Philippines shines at Miss Cosmo 2025
The Philippines has once again proven its dominance in the global pageant arena, continuing its strong back-to-back placements in the Miss Cosmo pageant and offering a ray of hope to this new pageant system. This inspiring venture was highlighted when our country’s bet, Chelsea Fernandez, secured the lone runner-up position at Miss Cosmo 2025, held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on Dec. 20. Her achievement followed the impressive performance of Ahtisa Manalo, who reached the Top 10 in the inaugural edition in 2024 and became the third runner-up at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant.
Fernandez, a seasoned Filipina beauty queen, delivered a powerful and stunning performance throughout the competition, from preliminaries to the finals.
During the finals, she showcased not only her exquisite beauty but also her commanding stage presence, which gave goosebumps to everyone watching. Her efforts were further recognized when she won best in evening gown and bagged the people’s choice award in the finals night, cementing her reputation as a formidable competitor who personifies grace, determination, and the jubilant support system standing firmly behind her.
As a pageant fan, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to her for carrying the nation’s name on her chest with pride and distinction. Come on, she is gorgeous! She came prepared and fully understood her assignment.
Fernandez’s journey reflects the country’s credentials in international pageantry—a path sealed by perseverance, talent, and beauty. As the Philippines celebrates this accolade, it becomes imperative to recognize the power of unity, passion, and the proud spirit of these other Filipino beauty queens who continue to inspire future beauty queens with their remarkable victories.
