A new vision of luxury rises in Makati CBD

So who bought the penthouse units?

That was the daring question I couldn’t resist asking at the intimate media launch of Laurean Residences last Monday. Ayala Land Premier, the luxury residential brand of Ayala Land, only started pre-selling this latest development last June and surprise, surprise (or not!), the first to fly off the shelf were none other than the bigger cuts—the more expansive, and naturally, the more expensive ones.

But really, who could blame them? Laurean Residences is not just another building rising in the heart of Makati’s central business district.

As Ayala Land Premier president Mike Jugo had put it, Laurean Residences is “more than a collection of homes, it is an urban sanctuary where timeless architecture, purposeful amenities, and meticulous craftsmanship come together to elevate everyday life.”

And elevate, it certainly does.

A new landmark, lifestyle

Picture this: Dela Rosa Street, buzzing with fresh life, anchored by the up and coming BPI Tower, lush open spaces, and a civic hub where people gather, unwind, and connect. Laurean Residences rises as a modern-day beacon—sophisticated yet welcoming, connected yet intimate.

Over half a hectare of exclusive amenities, managed by Ayala Land Hospitality, redefines the idea of “home.” It’s essentially a private in-city club where wellness, leisure, and social connection blend seamlessly. You could live here and never feel the need to leave (though Greenbelt might still tempt you for a little retail therapy).

Luxury, but with personality

Ayala Land Premier has already spoiled us with Park Villas and Park Central Towers, but Laurean Residences speaks to a slightly different sensibility: those who crave exclusivity, but still want flexibility, privacy, and easy access to Makati’s cultural and civic playgrounds.

You can choose from the chic 72 sqm suites to the sprawling four-bedroom homes at 402 sqm, plus the bi-level villas for those who really want to make a statement. Add a touch of design royalty—HB Design, Joyce Wang Studio, and Landscape Tectonix—and suddenly, “coming home” feels like stepping into a lifestyle magazine spread.

Designed for tomorrow

But here’s where Laurean Residences truly sets itself apart. It’s not just about polished marble and world-class design. It’s also about future-proof luxury—EDGE certification in the works, EV charging stations, and EV-ready parking slots. Definitely, this development marries sophistication with sustainability.

As Jugo emphasized, “Laurean Residences continues Ayala Land Premier’s tradition of creating enduring communities that embody modern luxury in the Philippines.”

So definitely, Laurean Residences is not just a home—it’s an inheritance, a lifestyle investment, a legacy wrapped in steel, glass, and greenery.

So, who bought the penthouses? Well, let’s just say they were snatched up by those who know that true luxury isn’t about having the best view in the city—it’s about having the best life in it.
