Ayala Land reaps multiple Gold, Silver and Bronze awards

Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) once again showcased its commitment to excellence, as it emerged victorious among numerous prestigious awards globally. With dedication to quality, growth, sustainability and people development as well as leadership and innovation, ALI’s exceptional performance is recognized at the prestigious International Business Awards (IBA) popularly known as “Stevies” and dubbed as the “Olympics” in Business Awards. An astounding achievement, ALI is the top winner with 27 awards, solidifying its position as an industry leader.

Top billing the wins from Stevies are Ayala Land Estates and AyalaMalls, followed by ALI’s construction arm, Makati Development Corporation (MDC), among its other businesses. The IBA Stevies are reputed to be a global premier business awards. It was established to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide. Stevie has become one of the world’s most coveted prizes.

In addition to its success at the IBA Stevies, ALI has also garnered recognition from various renowned organizations. These include the Asian Excellence Awards, Asia Pacific Property Awards, IABC PH Quill Awards, ICD Golden Arrow Awards, Titan Property and Business Awards, Vega Digital Awards, TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards and more.

Maintaining Quality Standards

Quality is the cornerstone of Ayala Land’s success, and this year has been a testament to the company’s dedication to maintaining and enhancing its high standards. This is evident with the numerous international awards that ALI has received.

MDC was honored with a Gold Stevie in the IBA for Company of the Year in the Materials and Construction category. ALLHC also took home a Gold Stevie for Company of the Year—Real Estate (Medium Size), while AyalaMalls was recognized with a Gold Stevie for its innovative ‘City within a Building—Microcosm of Urbanization’ project at AyalaMalls Manila Bay.

Bronze Stevies are also won by Alveo under the category Company of the Year—Real Estate—Large category and Avida for its entry ‘A Sure Thing Back Home’ under the category Company of the Year —Real Estate—Large category.

MDC was also honored by the National Government, through the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), with the Recognition for Mastery in Quality Management under the 26th Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Assessment Cycle.

Retail Asia Award.

ALI also won big in Asian Excellence Awards, ICD Golden Arrow Awards, IABC PH Quill Awards, IFMA EHS Award, International Business Magazine, Kidlat Awards, Marketing Excellence Awards, Prestige Awards, Global 100 – 2024 Real Estate Revolutionaries Awards, Luxury Lifestyle Awards, M&A Today Global Awards, and FIABCI PH awards. Earlier this year, ALI also won multiple accolades in the Asia Pacific Stevie Awards (APAC Stevies).

Notably, MDC dominated recognitions in the Philippine Quality Award, SOPI Safety Competition Awards, Philippine Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards, Safety Organization of the Philippines—Awards of Excellence, and MIDAS Top Structure Awards, reinforcing ALI’s reputation for quality across its diverse product offerings.

Strategic Growth Towards Success

Ayala Land’s commitment to growth, its second strategic pillar, is evident in the company’s ability to adapt and expand in a rapidly changing market. These efforts have been recognized through recent awards received by AyalaLand Estates in IBA Stevies. The Estates group was honored with gold and bronze Stevies under the category of Art, Entertainment and Public through its events in its estates such as the ‘Parklinks Bridge Lights Up with Entertainment,’ Makati’s ‘Triangle Gardens,’ and ‘Waves of Wonder: Nuvali Fountain of Lights 2023.’

AyalaMalls also won gold, silver, and bronze Stevies under categories of Corporate and Community- Community Engagement Event and Brand and Experiences—Brand Engagement Event.

Aside from IBA Stevies, ALI was also recognized in PANAta Awards, TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards, Travel International Golf Magazine, Vega Digital Awards, World Business Outlook Award, Finance Derivative Awards, and Retail Asia Awards.

Sustainability in its DNAALI’s commitment to sustainability runs deep within its core. For Ayala Land, sustainability is not just a buzzword—it’s a core principle embedded in the company’s DNA. This commitment is clearly reflected in the accolades received for sustainable practices and initiatives.

One of ALI’s most successful initiatives in promoting sustainability, which won gold Stevies, is the Car-Free Sundays at Ayala Avenue in Makati, which has now been extended to ALI’s estate in Cebu. This weekly activity not only fosters community engagement, but also encourages wellness and contributes to reducing carbon emissions.

In addition, MDC was awarded gold and silver Stevies in the Sustainability Leadership Award category in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. AyalaMalls received a silver Stevie for its Ayala Center Cebu Bambufest, as well as bronze Stevie for the ‘Users to Plant Seeds Through Zing! App Downloads’ initiative. Vermosa Green Run, also won a bronze Stevie. ALI’s “Back to Grass” Campaign takes another bronze Stevie for a video story on how sustainable its estates are with the communities’ needs at the core.

ALI’s commitment to its people has been highlighted through its recognition at the HR Asia Awards 2024. Ayala Land was honored as one of the Best Companies to work for in Asia and also received an accolade in the Sustainable Workplace Awards. These accomplishments showcase ALI’s commitment to providing an empowering working environment and its dedication to sustainability.

Last August 14, ALI was also recognized as the Learning Champion in the LinkedIn Talent Awards 2024.

Ayala Land’s legal teams have also been recognized in The Legal 500’s Inaugural General Counsel (GC) Powerlist Philippines Teams 2024. This recognition underscores the exceptional legal prowess and strategic contributions of ALI’s in-house counsels. The legal teams from ALI’s business units, AREIT, Avida, and AyalaMalls, were all celebrated in this recognition.
