Blessings under the sun: Wilcon Depot opens new store in San Carlos City

Blessings come in many forms for this city, which may be small in land area, but is among the most populous in the region.

San Carlos City Mayor Julier Resuello pointed out that the clear skies during the opening of Wilcon Depot’s third store in Pangasinan boded well for the residents of the city and nearby municipalities.

“It is a sign that our flood affected residents will now be able to recover, return to their homes and go to Wilcon for their needs. We are elated that we are partners with Wilcon,” Resuello said.

Resuello also expressed relief that San Carlos residents won’t have to brave extreme weather conditions or tedious travel to source their home improvement essentials, since they can find everything they will need at the newly opened branch of Wilcon Depot in San Carlos City.

Wilcon Depot brings to this city topnotch building materials, trusted home improvement brands, and expert service under one roof. From full-scale construction projects to weekend DIYs, the store is equipped to meet the evolving needs of homeowners and professionals, making access to reliable products easier than ever for communities in and around Pangasinan.

As with all Wilcon Depot stores, this branch also offers value-added services like the Design Hub, for customers who want 3D renderings of their envisioned spaces; showrooms; Tile Studio; and the ABCDE Lounge, a dedicated space for professionals to collaborate and consult with their clients.

Accessibility, availability of premium product options, and local job generation are just part of the good news that Wilcon Depot brings to Pangasinan.

“The arrival of Wilcon Depot in the third district of Pangasinan is more than just a business milestone. It is a symbol of progress. It means that more homes are being built, more businesses are growing, and more families are improving their lives and thinking of building their future here in our district,” said Councilor Vincent Arenas, who delivered the speech on behalf of Rep. Rachel Arenas.

“It’s a sign that our local economy is thriving in that our communities are moving forward. We are excited for what lies ahead,” Arenas said.

This was validated by Wilcon president and CEO Lorraine Belo-Cincochan who noted that “behind this store are countless people who poured their hearts and effort into making this dream a reality. To the people of San Carlos, thank you for welcoming us even before our doors opened. We’re excited to grow with you, serve you and learn from you.”

This is further echoed by Wilcon SEVP and COO Rosemarie Bosch-Ong: ”It’s not just our premium products. It’s also about service, care, and understanding each community’s unique needs that truly sets us apart. Our presence in Pangasinan is about being there in moments that matter.”
