Building and championing the Filipino potential
Investing in sports strengthens a nation’s health, resilience, and sense of pride. When institutions commit resources to athletics, they help cultivate new disciplines, build modern facilities, and support athletes on their journey to global competition.
Acknowledging that, BingoPlus Foundation, the social development arm of DigiPlus Interactive Corp., donated some P17 million to the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), the National Golf Association of the Philippines (NGAP), and the Asian Development Tour (ADT).

Empowering Filipino athletes
This contribution underscores the long-term commitment of BingoPlus Foundation and BingoPlus, DigiPlus’ flagship brand, to strengthening national sports programs and empowering Filipino athletes to compete on the world stage.
Of the total amount, P8 million went to PSC, the government’s lead agency for amateur sports and the promotion of athletic excellence.
“[The] amount is a victory far greater than any we could claim tonight. The true winners here are our Filipino athletes and our youth,” PSC Commissioner Fritz Gaston said, receiving the donation in October.
“Our primary focus is to assist our athletes, particularly the aspiring young individuals. This generous donation [from BingoPlus and BingoPlus Foundation] will be utilized to support our youth, starting from the grassroots,” he added. “We will provide them with the necessary funds for their training and practice in their chosen sports.”
To further promote golf in the country, NGAP and ADT received $50,000 and $100,000, respectively. In addition, BingoPlus Foundation, together with BingoPlus and GameZone, donated P500,000 to Sisidlan Rizal Weavers, whose works were featured during the ISP Welcome Gala and the LIV Golf Music Fest.
These donations were made in conjunction with the inaugural International Series Philippines (ISP), held from Oct. 23 to 26.

A new milestone
In holding the ISP, a Filipino golfer is guaranteed a coveted slot in the prestigious International Series, one of the most competitive pathways in professional golf, consisting of elite tournaments sanctioned by the Asian Tour.
“DigiPlus is proud to have championed the inaugural [ISP]. This prestigious event is an affirmation that we created a new milestone for our country as a premier world-class sports destination,” DigiPlus chair Eusebio Tanco said.
“Beyond expanding golf’s domestic reach and enhancing our global standing, this tournament is crucial because it gives us, through our BingoPlus Foundation, the opportunity to support and empower our sports community, which upholds our commitment to Philippine sports,” Tanco added.
