Living the quiet energy of Susana Heights

You might know Susana Heights only as an exit on the South Luzon Expressway. But it’s so much more than that.
For one, Susana Heights derives its name from Susana Paterno Madrigal who, despite being married to an accomplished businessman, decided to still forge her own path in business. She diversified from dressmaking to real estate, among others.
Madrigal acquired and developed the land where Susana Heights now stands—once a quiet corner on the edge of Muntinlupa City, now a thriving community full of possibility.
To better appreciate the charm and character of Susana Heights and its surroundings, it helps to explore the vibrant city it calls home. Here are a few spots in Muntinlupa worth visiting.

Museo ng Muntinlupa
If you want to get acquainted with the city’s past, head over to the Museo ng Muntinlupa.
Located just seven minutes by car from Susana Heights, the Museo was designed to serve as a cultural center that highlights local arts and an educational space where people can learn and connect. It also stands as a community hub built on sustainability principles, both in its design and daily operations. The Museo regularly hosts special exhibitions, workshops, and public programs.

Muntinlupa Sports Complex
From the Museo, it’s just a 13-minute walk to the Muntinlupa Sports Complex. It houses the Muntinlupa Aquatic Center, track and field oval and baseball field. The city government continues to invest in upgrading it into a premier sports venue. While running on the track or getting your steps in, you can enjoy open views and the refreshing breeze from Laguna de Bay.
Hallow Ridge Filipinas Golf
If you’re big on golf, you’ll be surrounded by country clubs where you can train and compete. Closest to you would be Hallow Ridge Filipinas Golf in San Pedro, Laguna. It is less than 20 minutes away if you drive—likely even closer if you walk off the beaten path!
It’s an 18-hole championship all-weather golf course that hosted the Philippines Golf Open in 1994. It was designed by renowned Japanese golf course architect Seiichi Inoue to help players enjoy the relaxing vibe of Laguna.
