Made for women who deserve everything
Gifting women has always been a bit of a puzzle—even for me. Finding something for female clients comes with its own checklist: useful, practical, thoughtful but not too personal. It’s about showing you took the time to choose something they’ll actually use and love.
In the spirit of Women’s Month, consider this your shortcut. I’ve rounded up a few thoughtful picks to take the guesswork out of gifting.
Multi-tray container
Not only are these pretty, but they can also make our dishwashing easier. For someone who likes having sidings with their meals such as atchara, radish, cucumber salad, kimchi, vinegar, or fish sauce with lots of fresh chili, this kind of container is best. It’s perfect for the indecisive dipper! I found these at My HappyHome GH Mall.

Acrylic book stand
This book stand is perfect for displaying your current favorite book. The stand is capable of holding a large coffee table book. Pair this with matching books personalized to the receiver’s taste. I found this at the Taschen Home floor at Rustan’s Makati.

Chic and stylish plates
Nothing makes me happier than using creative and modern plates—like those from Seletti, Bordallo Pinheiro, and Ceramiche Fabbro. There’s Seletti’s broken plate design and Bordallo Pinheiro’s playful use of hand-painted surreal motifs. The advantage of getting these is that they do not have to be complete sets to give away. You can start by getting platters and dinner plates first.

Christofle
Anything from Christofle is a big treat for the receiver. Anyone would be more than happy to receive silverware that is functional and decorative. My favorite item is the MOOD Skyline flatware set, which contains 24 pieces of forks, spoons, knives, and teaspoons, good for six.

Alessi
These stainless steel trays from Alessi can last for years and can be used for entertaining and daily use. Designers include Michael Graves, Marcel Wanders, Philippe Starck, and more.
Frette bedsheets and linens
It’s not the thread count, but the kind of cotton, silk, and cashmere used by this brand that makes all the difference. Founded in 1860, it is used in top rated hotels and residences. We spend almost half the day in our beds, and having crisp sheets is the best! Frette has a physical store in Podium Mall.

Flos Bilboquet table lamp
What I like most about this lamp, which comes in a vibrant orange color, is its adjustable head, which you can direct in any direction. This makes it so easy to light up any corner or shelf. Flos can be found locally at Steltz International.

Tassles
Small, long, or fluffy—tassels instantly add sophistication to any arrangement. They are a basic decorative item for curio lovers, but never basic in effect.

Standout neckpieces
I can’t leave the house without a statement piece on my neck. Not only are they fun fashion pieces, they also double as funky decor items. Place them on top of coffee table books, trays, use them as bowl fillers, or display them on wrought iron stands. This particular necklace is from Rambutan Home.
