Makati rings in 2025 with a radiant New Year’s Eve countdown
Makati City is pulling out all the stops for its grandest New Year’s Eve celebration yet.
With the theme “Radiant Holiday Experience,” this year’s revelry will transform Ayala Avenue into the ultimate stage for an unforgettable countdown to 2025, bringing together the best of Filipino artistry and community spirit. This collaboration among the local government of Makati, Ayala Land Inc., and Make It Makati ensures that this yearend party is going to be one spectacular celebration for the books—one that will set the tone, too, for an exciting and hopeful 2025.
Day long revelry
Festivities will kick off at 12:00 noon, with Ayala Avenue brimming with food stalls offering a tempting array of treats to fuel attendees for the exciting night ahead.
The main stage comes alive at 6:00 p.m., with its expanded “portal clock” stage design. Building on last year’s concept, the 2025 countdown stage is all about moving forward and embracing new possibilities, while keeping the good vibes going.
DJ Brian Cua will pump up the crowd with OPM dance hits, setting the mood for an exhilarating night, before a lineup of some of the country’s most celebrated artists takes the stage. Drag royalty will step into the spotlight as Marina Summers dazzles the crowd with her fierce presence and showstopping acts, while indie favorite Lola Amour will no doubt add a unique flair to the night.
Setting the stage on fire will be rock icon Bamboo, with his oft spontaneous performances, while Gloc-9 will bring his lyrical genius and iconic rap anthems to the stage, showcasing the depth and diversity of Filipino music—and of course, adding to the amazing atmosphere of the countdown celebration.
As midnight nears, Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano will electrify the stage with his timeless hits while powerhouse girl group BINI will bring their infectious pop energy to the stage.
A beloved tradition
This New Year’s Eve celebration—happening at the intersection of Ayala Avenue and Makati Avenue (near Ayala Triangle Gardens)—remains free for all, inviting everyone to be part of this beloved annual tradition.
For those seeking a more exclusive experience however, special ticketed sections will be available. You can opt for the Mosh Pit to get up and close and personal with the performers in an energetic, high-energy zone, or you can go for the VIP Seating where you can enjoy the spectacle from the comfort of premium seating areas.
The celebration doesn’t end though once the clock strikes 12. An outdoor dance floor nearby will keep the festivities alive, allowing revelers to party well into the early hours of 2025.
