Power Plant Mall on the move to Angeles, set to deliver beyond ordinary retail experience
Rockwell’s signature lifestyle is heading North, and the wait won’t be long.
The Power Plant Mall Angeles has already topped off earlier this week, marking a significant step in bringing the distinct Rockwell experience closer to Kapampangans.
This highly anticipated retail destination, set to open by the third quarter of 2027, is the centerpiece of the 4.6-ha Rockwell at Nepo Center in Angeles City, Pampanga. It rises right across Rockwell’s first residential offering here, The Manansala, whose units are currently being turned over to its first homeowners.

Celebrating the expansion
In a ceremony held at the project site on Tuesday, officials of Rockwell Land and its partner, Juan D. Nepomuceno (JDN) Realty, celebrated the completion of the mall’s structural works.
Gracing the event were Angeles City Mayor Carmelo G. Lazatin II, who was joined by Eugenio L. Lopez III; Nestor J. Padilla, chair and CEO of Rockwell; Miguel Ernesto L. Lopez, treasurer
and SVP for Office Development of Rockwell; Engr. Peter G. Nepomuceno, chair emeritus of JDN Realty; and
Arsenio N. Valdes, chair of JDN Realty. Other guests included prospective retail tenants, key project partners, consultants, and contractors, who all came to celebrate the expansion of the iconic Rockwell lifestyle into Central Luzon.
“This is our first Power Plant Mall outside (our flagship development)
Rockwell Center Makati and I’m so excited for our future tenants and the Kapampangans,” Padilla said on the sidelines of the ceremony. “What you like about Power Plant Mall
Makati, you’ll find it here. It’s going to be the same here, maybe even a bit better… This is Rockwell on the move.”
“When Power Plant Mall Angeles opens in Q3 of 2027, the very first expansion of the same mall loved in Makati, we look forward to providing the Kapampangans a new vibrant lifestyle experience that they deserve,” Valdes said in his speech.

A retail landmark
“We are thrilled to bring the Power Plant Mall experience to Angeles,” added Tin Coqueiro, Rockwell Land VP for Retail Development. “Our goal is to blend our signature curated retail mix with local flavors, ensuring a destination that resonates deeply with the Kapampangan community.”
Set to offer 32,000 sqm of leasable space, Power Plant Mall Angeles will feature a curated mix of international and local brands, everyday essentials, and a dedicated al fresco dining scene that celebrates Pampanga’s rich culinary heritage.
Besides this new retail landmark, Rockwell at Nepo Center is also home to three residential developments namely The Manansala, which is now fully sold out; The BenCab, which has recorded an 87 percent take-up; and The Aurelio, which was recently launched.
“With the residential building The Manansala being turned over, The BenCab to follow later this year, and Power Plant Mall Angeles opening next year, we can truly see and feel the Rockwell at Nepo Center community already taking shape,” Valdes said.

Expanding the masterplan
The warm reception for these projects has prompted the partners, through their joint venture firm Rockwell Nepo Development Corp. (RNDC), to expand the overall masterplan.
“Because of the positive response to our residential and retail offerings, we are expanding Rockwell at Nepo Center with an additional 9,000 sqm of land. We are already planning on expanding the mall and adding other components that will make the development even more exciting,” Padilla disclosed.
This is something that, Valdes believes, signals even greater opportunities ahead.
“We’ve always believed that Central Luzon is a growth center and we felt it with the strong reception to our condos and the interest in Power Plant Mall Angeles. We feel there are still a lot of opportunities to offer new products that will make Rockwell at Nepo Center even more exciting,” Valdes added.
