Pueblo de Oro elevates township living with the FiT Park

Pueblo de Oro Development Corp. unveiled last month a premier fitness destination designed to inspire residents to pursue active, healthy lifestyles.
FiT Park—located within the 48-hectare Pueblo de Oro Townscapes Malvar in Batangas— introduces pioneering amenities that reflect the company’s distinct approach to developing integrated, community-centered townships.
In particular, the FiT Park features a 315-meter Polyplay S jogging track crafted by German industry leader Polytan, which is renowned for Olympic-grade sports surfaces. This track delivers 38 percent shock absorption, ensuring exceptional safety and performance for runners.
Complementing the track, the park offers 18 fitness stations organized into four themed zones by Let’s Play by Shamrock Fitness Equipment, an internationally made outdoor fitness system by Shamrock Arena.

First of its kind in PH
“You may be saying to yourselves, what’s the big deal? After all, it’s just a fitness park. But we, in Pueblo de Oro, take great pride in being able to present it to you because of two factors. First of all, no less than the president of the [Pilipinas Obstacle Sports Federation] has said that it is the first of its kind and quality in our country… All of the equipment, including the running track, are imported from abroad and was carefully selected for its quality,” said Pueblo de Oro chairman and CEO Guillermo D. Luchangco.
“Secondly, the FiT Park is something that we decided to construct as an extra feature for Pueblo’s development here in Malvar. Many of our buyers would not have realized at the time of purchase that there would be a FiT Park of this level of quality,” he added.

Distinct and integrated
The introduction of FiT Park aligns with Pueblo de Oro’s larger vision of creating distinct integrated communities.
In the case of Pueblo de Oro Townscapes Malvar, this community forms part of a much bigger 295-ha mixed-use estate that brings together industrial, residential, commercial, institutional, and recreational zones.
The neighborhood, which is expected to have a commercial strip along its frontage, is beside the 247-ha Light Industry & Science Park IV, developed by Pueblo de Oro’s sister company, Science Park of the Philippines. Inside Pueblo de Oro Townscapes Malvar is The Abba’s Orchard Montessori School.
Given this convenient access to employment hubs, institutions, necessities and leisure, Pueblo de Oro Townscapes Malvar—like all other Pueblo de Oro developments—delivers a truly integrated live-work-play lifestyle.

Introducing innovations
Building on this lifestyle, the FiT Park fittingly complements the estate’s offering by providing a wellness facility that brings health and recreation into the heart of the community. This latest addition shows how the company continues to take note of trends and changing preferences to ensure that its developments will remain relevant.
“That’s the plan. Aside from the FiT Park and other wellness-related features, we truly want to introduce something new in every development,” said Pueblo de Oro president and COO Prim Nolido.
According to Nolido, they have always sought to create something new especially for their bigger developments. While similar initiatives have already succeeded abroad, the goal is to introduce those innovations to the Philippines to “upgrade the quality of townships,” Nolido added.
