Pueblo de Oro wins big, to launch new devt’s in Cebu, CDO

Pueblo de Oro Development Corp. is launching new projects in the last quarter of the year, signaling its continued confidence in the growth of housing markets outside Metro Manila.
The company is capitalizing on the strong demand, which was reflected in the company’s robust sales, particularly last month.
Strong sales
“August, which is supposed to be Ghost Month saw our strongest sales ever for our projects in Malvar, Batangas and Cagayan De Oro in the affordable segment,” Pueblo de Oro president Prim B. Nolido said on the sidelines of the Dot Property Philippines Awards 2025.
According to Nolido, they will be officially launching in the coming months two projects in Cebu province namely Pueblo de Oro Townhomes Carcar, a 10-ha masterplanned community featuring stylish modern Asian homes, and Pueblo de Oro Storeys, a mid-rise condominium located inside the 27.4-ha Townscapes Mactan in Lapu-Lapu City.
“We’re quite bullish (about our prospects) in Cebu. Our Pueblo de Oro Storeys is a mid-rise condo in the city, while the one in Carcar is our typical affordable townhomes development,” Nolido said.

‘Silicon Valley’ vibe
Pueblo de Oro is also looking to launch Southridge, a 31-ha mixed-use development reportedly designed to emulate the Silicon Valley vibe of the southern San Francisco Bay Area. Situated at the intersection of the new Laguindingan-Pueblo de Oro Diversion Road, within the expanded Pueblo de Oro township, this project will have residential communities, commercial spaces, and a World Trade Center, according to Nolido.
The company earlier disclosed that it was, along with the ICCP Group, in discussions with the state-run National Development Corp. (NDC) for plans to establish a World Trade Center exhibition hall in Cagayan de Oro, positioning the city as a prime venue for global exhibitions.
Tailwinds
Nolido also teased about future projects in Clark, Pampanga and Batangas.
PDO’s expansion, he explained, was encouraged by the devolution from Metro Manila and emergence of growth areas in the provinces. He also saw tailwinds in the increasing remittances of overseas Filipino workers and more affordable amortization packages from banks, especially for horizontal products.
As more developers see the potential of areas beyond Metro Manila and start to build there, Nolido admitted that competition was getting tight for Pueblo de Oro. Fortunately though, the company enjoys a first-mover advantage in many places and has cemented its reputation as a trusted developer.

Accolades
Proof of this are the recent accolades it received at the Dot Property Philippines Awards 2025.
Nolido led his team in receiving the Best Affordable Housing Development Award for PDO Westwoods Heights, and Best Green Development Award for PDO Townscapes Malvar.
Westwoods Heights is a 12.7-ha residential masterpiece in Batangas City. It offers lot-only and house-and-lot units, as well as parking lots. The homes, whether single-attached and single-detached, incorporate subtle Filipino influences that offer beauty and function.
Meanwhile, PDO Townscapes Malvar is a premier eco-friendly community in Malvar town, Batangas, composed of a 48-ha residential area and a 5-ha commercial center, among others. It integrates breathtaking views, lush green spaces, green technologies, and thoughtfully designed outdoor amenities into the life of the homeowners.
