Step into the Christmas magic at Rockwell Center Makati
Nothing signals the start of the holidays quite like Rockwell Center Makati when it’s all brilliantly lit up in a spectacular display that fills the air with the season’s warmth and cheer.
On Nov. 3, Rockwell Land officially unveiled a dazzling wonderland brimming with delightful surprises in every corner. Against thousands of bright, twinkling lights and the joyful sounds of the season, Rockwell Center came alive that beautiful Sunday night, inviting everyone to experience the wonder of Christmas in true Rockwell fashion.
Memorable holidays
Over the years, Rockwell has built a delightful tradition of creating distinct and memorable holiday experiences for everyone. And this year will certainly be no exception, as shown by its kickoff festivities and the exciting events it has lined up for the season.
Jumpstarting the holiday cheer were the festivities held last Sunday, when families and friends gathered at the North Court to watch the Christmas Rockettes and their dance routine, followed by riveting performances that thrilled mallgoers at the Plaza Driveway.
There, Nineworks Theatrical delivered a whimsical Christmas musical, while acrobats, jugglers, and stilt walkers mesmerized the crowd with their aerial feats, showcasing stunts that seemed to defy gravity. To top it all off, National Artist and legendary music icon Ryan Cayabyab, along with the Ryan Cayabyab Singers, filled the night with the crowd’s favorite holiday tunes, delivering a performance that had aptly set the stage for the countdown.
Countdown
And what would a Christmas celebration be without Santa Claus? The big man himself made a special appearance, much to the delight of the children, who joined him on stage to shout a booming “Merry Christmas!” which seemed to light up the night as much as the twinkling trees.
With Santa leading the countdown to the tree lighting and children’s voices echoing in cheer, the lights across the entire Rockwell Center Makati flickered on simultaneously, illuminating nearly 200 trees with some 11,000 sets of lights and over 105,000 meters of duralights—an amazing effort that brought the spirit of Christmas to every corner of this community.
Showstopping centerpieces
But what sets Rockwell Center Makati apart is the fact that mallgoers are treated to more than just a single stunning display.
Besides the crowd favorite animatronics located in different parts of the Power Plant Mall, there are also three showstopping Christmas trees, the tallest of which stands at 50 feet, decked out with 84,000 lights and 150 Christmas balls. Another 40-foot tree glitters with 60,000 lights and 100 ornaments, while a 30-foot tree illuminated the mall expansion with its 20,000 lights and festive charms. At the Plaza Garden, a 15-meter-high tree added to the merriment.
To further fuel the thrill of the holidays, Rockwell alsoannounced the start of its much anticipated annual Christmas Car Raffle.
This year, Rockwell is giving away two luxury cars—a Land Rover Defender 110 and a Lexus GX Overtrail—bringing even more excitement to your Christmas shopping. For every P3,000 spent at any participating store within Power Plant Mall, P2,000 at any Rockwell Center locator (those outside the mall but within Rockwell Center Makati) or P5,000 single receipt purchase at The Marketplace, shoppers earn raffle entries and a chance to win one of these luxury cars.
Plus, with the Rockwellist app, entries are automatically updated, making it easier for you to join. The raffle runs from Nov. 3, 2024 to Jan. 31, 2025.
Holiday fairs
And from Nov. 16 to Dec. 15, Rockwell will also have its holiday fairs at the Plaza Garden, offering a trove of unique finds to make it easy for you to pick up thoughtful gifts for your loved ones. For the young ones, Santa Claus will be back to add a sprinkle of magic to your weekends.
As Christmas draws near, Rockwell invites everyone to experience the magic and joy of this season in a destination that lets you create cherished memories and embrace the spirit of giving—here at Rockwell Center Makati.
