The Proscenium Theater teases a new stage experience

In the heart of Rockwell Center, where city life meets the calm of elegant living, a new stage has been set.
The Proscenium Theater, a sweeping architectural stroke against the Makati skyline, promises to redefine the city’s cultural landscape and elevate the very notion of a night out.
Monumental yet intimate
Named for the elegant frame that separates audience from performance, the proscenium arch, the theater itself is a study in graceful curves and bold ambition. Architect Carlos Ott sought to create a structure that both integrated with and distinguished itself from its surroundings.
“The performance hall had to, on one hand, be integrated visually with the overall design while at the same time be easily identified as a different form with its own personality,” Ott explained.
The result is a building that feels both monumental and intimate, a testament to the power of thoughtful design.
New theater experience
Many await this new theater experience in the metro, offering a unique 778-seater space for the performing arts, plus a black box that allows for versatility—all in a complete Rockwell lifestyle that extends beyond the stage with the community’s retail offerings.
For those who’ve been paying attention, glimpses of what’s to come have already made their way into Rockwell—subtle hints at its opening later this year, along with a video clip hinting at the very first musical set to take the stage this September.
