Despite being a South Korean, Tiffany (Jiwon) Lee will have a lot of hometown support being somewhat a Philippine product and at just 16, one of the youngest players in the 132-strong cast in the inaugural $200,000 ICTSI Worldwide Link Philippine Ladies Masters 2025.

Lee sharpened her game in the Junior PGT before winning titles as an amateur and then as a pro in her LPGT debut last year, as she plays in the Korean LPGA Dream Tour and Taiwan LPGA co-sanctioned event as one of the country invites in the 54-hole championship at tough-as-nails The Country Club in Laguna.

“I’m very excited. It’s overwhelming in a good way, and it’s a great opportunity for me to push myself to the limit,” said Lee. “My target this year is to keep grinding and soak in the experience.

Ardina is spearhead

“I have quite a few big tournaments lined up (for the year), and my goal is to perform my best in all of them.”

Dottie Ardina, the Epson Tour-LPGA campaigner, spearheads the PH challenge together with Princess Superal, Pauline del Rosario, Chihiro Ikeda, Harmie Constantino and Mafy Singson starting Tuesday.

A tough international cast made up of the top 50 players of the Dream Tour and the TLPGA will be trying to take the title overseas as the field battles over a course known as one of the toughest tests in the country.

“It’s going to be a battle,” Ardina had told the Inquirer in a separate interview. “Especially if they set the course up to be difficult, then it’s going to be very difficult.”
