UP battles Adamson; UST tests FEU
Rey Remogat has let go of the past and wants his University of the Philippines teammates to do the same.
“I want to achieve something as a person, and we want to achieve something as a team,” he said in Filipino after leading UP past last season’s Finals dance partner, La Salle, recently in the UAAP Season 89 men’s basketball tournament.
“We just wanted to get this win, and we just want to get more wins in our next games,” he added after dropping 20 points against the Green Archers. “I don’t have any more frustrations from last year.”
Collecting more wins means dealing with a streaking Adamson next.
The Falcons are coming off a victory over University of the East and are tied with the Maroons at 3-2 (win-loss).
UP and Adamson clash on Wednesday at Smart Araneta Coliseum in the nightcap of a doubleheader that begins with a 3 p.m. duel between slumping University of Santo Tomas and league leader Far Eastern U.
